Giving it enough to push it.. but saving a little sumpin sumpin fopr the race. Or maybe its just in race mode that he is able to draw on some internal energy or something. I think his desire to win does one of two things, either he pushed too hard and crashes, or it gives him this intense focus and clarity that means he can do some crazy shit no one else can - on or the other at any time

Real neat to see an "underdog" park it on pole... that will be subtle encouragement for the others too ( although yamaha need something more than encouragement). tempted to watch the sprint live. go Bez!

yeah - apart from the start it was a pretty ho-hum affair... i tried bourbon to insulate me from those tnt commentators, but they still sound like 2 village idiots.
My distinct impression with this one was: Marc instantly passes a few into 2nd place, then latches on to the tail pipe of Alex. He notices that those behind are not catching up, so he decided to just cruise around following his brother, before going - thats enough and passes Alex. He then quickly established his trade mark buffer of 1.5 seconds. Master class once again, even if it was a bit boring.
