Amen. Latest example that I'm aware of, Trump had a lawyer in court swearing that DOGE is not a government department and that Musk is not head of a department, he is just a "special adviser" to the president. (Legally a very important distinction.) Trump then stands up at his State of the Union speech and says he started a new Department Of Government Efficiency and appointed Elon Musk head of the department. That clip would have been on the judge's desk next day.
