Sounds good! Takes about hour and a half to get there from here so meet at about 730-8ish? (weazel time)[/QUOTE]

90 minutes is being extremely generous. I'd be real keen to meet up with some wellies folk for the ride up. Would you mind making the stop at the servicestation right next too the big round about in paramata? That way people such as myself coming from the Hutt can all be there too without backtracking. Could call it 0800 - 0815?

I'm from Woodville, so growing up I always used to stand out on the road and watch all the bikes going past. Be cool to actually ride in it!

yeah 8am should be about right (provided we do leave at that time). just read the official ad for the event and although sign in time is 930, the actual ride wont start until 1030

This is a good ride yes some go a little nuts but there is enough room on the road to allow everyone to get there safely. Just ride within your limits especially if your not used to riding in a group. Be aware of others around you.The ride is worth it.Its for a good cause and the stop at the beach is awesome. Try and stay the night and ride back at your own pace the next day. Be confident Ride safe. Dont be put off by others.

I would suggest meeting at the new BP (?) half-way along the Mana esplanade. They have decent coffee there whereas Shell have McFatbastards and Mobile have nothing. Itll be good for those that ALWAYS arrive too early (ie me).
[edit] - cant remember what their food place-association is called...some 'cafe' in some form.

sounds like great fun, hopefully i'll be there. I live in palmy anyone else from palmy going? I'm pretty sure I will have some room at my house if out of towners need a bed for the night. We should have a kb meeting spot near the event so we can all meet up before sign in.

If you were to edit your first post with these details then hopefully it should show up on the opening page of KiwiBiker.
