Yeah, mate there is several of us going from here, haven't got round to organising anything for it yet. Probably sort something out next week.

250's are incredibly underated. They're often made out to be just a 'stepping stone' to a bigger bike and to have little to no guts, but what a load of bollocks. They're the perfect size for flicking around tight corners and ripping open the throttle without any fear of stepping the whole back end out! They're awesome! People who diss 250s are speaking out their . Don't become a victim of the 250 bashing propoganda ok? Good lad.

Ok - back to the topic.....

I find it funny when I hear 250's being dissed as learner bikes. In England, where I started out, the learner limit is 125cc so 250's are seen as 'proper' bikes. I'm sure if the limit was upped to 400cc then they would soon be dissed.
Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

Yep BP at 8 it is!

Couldn't agree more, I used to be almost as fast over the takas on my old 250 as I am on the 600. It's all about how you ride it.

The longrange forecast is looking fairly average for the end of the week so lets hope it clears up in time for the weekend. I'm going rain or shine so I'll see ya'll at 8am at the BP.

    Good stuff Velox.

Generally the sort of people that put down smaller bikes are ones that need a larger bike to make up for all the time they lose going slowly around corners.

I don't see much point in speeding in a straight line on the road as its the easiest way to lose your license. Straight roads are only transit stages to twisty bits in my opinion.

Last year there was a postie bike and a few very old machines. They have a prize giving thing at the end for things like: person thats come the furtherest, oldest rider male and female, etc. If you did the rally on a minimoto you'd probably get a prize for smallest bike.

Theres lots of police controlling the event especailly at the start as theres a huge amount of bikes involved.

Just remember to fill your bike up with gas at Woodville if you want to make it out as the only other garage is a country one and it was not open all day last year.
