I need to get some new lower fork inners for my 2007 GSXR as the current ones now have too many rust spots turning up and consequently leaking fork seals. In the past I was able to grind out the spots and fill with JB Weld and that worked well but there now just too many small spots. Looking on line I see stainless steel inners and steel/hard chrome varieties are available. Does anyone know what the OEM units are made of or have any experience with replacement inners. I'm comfortable with removing the original inners and reusing the lower castings so dont want to buy new complete units.
Do you know what diameter you need. I have a pair of really good tubes that I bought for a GS1100G and which I didn't use. 37mm diameter IiRC.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
