    Shane Richardson

In case you've missed the news:

We all know it's dangerous, but never expect something this bad.

Saw the video when I woke up yesterday, a friend in the UK sent it to me as he and I talked racing often including Shane. Horrible crash, so much danger when the pack is bunched from the start. RIP to both riders. Weirdly I did open his message with a lump in my throat, I felt that this one was close to home.

Cheers OAB, I lost a mate in similar circumstances in South Africa... Nev Hiscock .RIP

So sad ,but we all take on the risks with this racing game !!!!!
His brother Dave was close to giving it all away, but in the end went over to SA and took over Nev's sponsorship...

I remember the name Richardson thru his uncle and his racing days,
    many, many moons ago.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Shane was one of our stars, he held a lap record for I think 8 years at Wanganuis Cemetery circuit, he was one extremely talented rider.
