Sometimes I get the romantic idea of doing a track day at Manfeild. But at $100 bucks ,nah !

Been round there lots with the bikes and also my job took me there for years with the Police.

I did something similar to that on the last trackday at Pukekohe. I definitely wouldn't pay $59 for the privilege.

That said I'm a long time sworn off track days. Riding with road riders who have a rush of blood is more dangerous than racing.
Also at the end of the day of training I've ventured out chasing a mate and getting into it then faced the huge speed difference as people appear reversing towards you from being hidden. No thanks. Park it.

Mind you club race newbies can be just as bad. I was in a very mixed club group on a RS125 and braked for hairpin at Taupo. A GPZ500 appears next to me so I dont turn in.
Just stare sideways. We park in the dirt side by side with me still in disbelief. Yeah mate, your braking mark was 100m further back 🙄.
