That MM has the luck of the devil to crash right there, and keep the clutch in, and think out of the square.
I guess he used it all up on the Saturday lol
Yes he is in the eave of his career but give him some more front feel and we will see a change, the test may have helped???
Just watched "Sepang clash 10 years on" on the MotoGP site, https://www.motogp.com/en/videos/202...ears-on/761576
The day I lost faith in Rossi and went more towards following MM. It was definaltly deliberate. As we have learned since MM races everyone and has never played political games.
He looked quiet crest fallen to kicked off and have that done to him in the vid, or is my one eye twitching LMAO
Free, and Good recap worth a watch.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
It seems He feels he has more feel now after testing. The argument seems to be that when the bike is in the wet, or on worn rubber it doesnt require so much strength, but on new rubber its too much for his shoulder which isnt quite strong enough yet. I'd like to see him have a good season this year, and maybe 1 year in the 850's. That would make me happy as a fan.

some people make their own luck. He has always seemed very calm under pressure. He has won many flag to flag races seemingly always pick the best time to change bikes.
Would love to see him on the 850s,maybe his talent to ride anything would shine through again. I am hoping he becomes fit enough to battle at the front again, even if his dominance has gone
Marc was flying last year, wrapping up the series early, which was very lucky given what Bez did to him after that. He didn't deserve that injury, and who knows how fast he would have been if that never happened. Can't turn back time though.
Cheers
Merv
That might have killed his career.
What gets me is that he was able to crash, keep the clutch disengaged, get the bike up, be aware to wait for all the bikes to go past and enter the track when it was safe, and enter the pit lanes before the timing point, get on the wet bike and win.
The kind of calm that must take is unreal. I'd have been crapping myself

To some extent normal service has resumed back in Europe as many predicted.
That said, four 'prillas in top six.
If i was in Zarco's pitbox I'd be learning some traditional French songs so the team could serenade him as he comes in. What a fighter on that honda. Never give a place and snatch it back if stolen. Hero.

It is actually amazing how the brain works in these moments. Not that I compare in anyway with a MGP rider.
I had a front wheel issue at Hampton last time out about 2 months ago
It was first lap Qually, slowish few corners warming brakes etc then power on hard, on the final straight before the last sweeper.
Front came up a little under power as normal for 2-3 gear changes or so, but by the time I got to 4th/5th flat out, it was locked in the air , it touched down locked, I went down fast.
Start of a loooong slide down the track.
You think of: not being stiff-relax, you hope your bike slides not flips, where are the other bikes, oh shit I hope I stop before that armco. keep your fucken helmet up off the ground thats a grand, where's the bike now, how stuffed is it going to be after this, are the riders still going around me, then you slide to a stop and stand up and think Pheww, then you look at the bike and think bugger thats its racing for the day. All sorts of stuff.
And yet after all the above I cant remember my Tech 7 airbag going off in the suit??? I think it was going or down again by the time I stood up.
Back at the pits you look at NO1 and its not fixable, oh the wet bike, you think I even got a spare helmet onboard, look at the mess the Missus (and faithful hardworking pitcrew) is in and decide it discretion might be the best decision for the day.
How a real rider sees it like Paul Pav or someone actually good thinks, I dunno.
Of course none of this applies on the road thats usually hurt, hurt, hospital.

Lever adjusted so slightly closing off return hole in mc will do that once expanded. Aftermarket levers can do that foe giggles. Pushing piston should return fluid quickly to reservoir else something is restricted.
I've come off in wet at Taupo and had presence to kick the bike away three times as it tried to join me in the dirt.
Several laps later I'm wondering- " why are the bars bent?". . . Priority of issues.
