2 restarts one nobodies fault the other a Zarco mistake. we have seen more red falgs in one race than I dunno hopw many seasons LOL.
Not sure if I am keen on that weaving down the straight to the inside white line I was hoping noone would get punted onto the grass being in the lead riders blind spot
I do feel for AM. He did nothing wrong and unfirtunatly they hadnt gone far enough in the race for him to get what he deserved for the weekend, not what he actually got. Cracked c7 I hope that works out ok????
Aprilia big winner in the championship after all the post race drama. What a weekend, what a hectic GP.

I cant find out so far whats up with Digga's hand?
Even on motogp you dont really see too much of the crash. It happenso fast I dont think a camera was actually on AM. Bez is lucky to get the points cos he was nowhere in the first rce. Apparently the C7 fracture is of the spiky bit of the Vertebre not the main body of it.(c/- paddock pass podcast)

I saw some stills of the aftermath of both crashes, very scary. I might skip watching the race, although great for Digia to win again. It's been a while. I'm not sure they should race again at Barcelona until they sort out a couple of issues with the track. Very lucky that it wasn't much, much worse.

There is now talk about having MotoGP races at some of the F1 street circuits. Sounds like a great leap backwards, how on earth could you ever make Singapore, for example, safe for bikes?

street circuits would be crazy on mgp bikes - i expect the riders (mostly ) would boycott them.
But having an engine fail on any track is real dangerous , moreso if the racing is close . even missing a gear can cause serious chaos as per one nzsbk on the back straight of manfield. noting ktm had 3 or 4 breakdowns over the weekend

There is an argument that that last race is pretty close to a street circuit, and it was at one point? I dont know that much about it, but if that's a case they just cant do street circuits, its too dangerous

I made a promise I wouldnt do street, starting racing so late.
I'd love to do Cemetary Boxing day, but we break to easy at my age, been very lucky over the years and I dont wanna stuff myself up
    So no lampposts for me
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
