    WTB: zxr250a rear shock

    oh well..... i need a new shock. the old one's fecked so im looking for a secondhand in good condition or an aftermarket replacement. any of you people have one lying around somewhere???

    i do have one but it is shagged too. Tell you what tho, you could try and find a Suzuki GF250 shock. They are fully adjustable and are pretty much the exact same size hole to hole. From memory you will just need to drill one of the bolt holes bigger and it should fit right in... then find somewhere to bolt the adjuster in.

    yeah i konw a few other ones fit as well but id really rather do it properly. i saw the bike you ar eselling has a new rear shock. where did you source that from and how much was it if you dont mind me asking??

    CBR250, ZZR250, GSXR250.
    They all fit in.

    i got mine from takanini motorcycle wreckers. Think it was $100 from memory but cant remember exactly. If you ring up Mt Eden Motorcycles and ask for Ricky, i think he has one or two decent condition ones for about $200.
