    Shock adjustment?

I put in a second hand shock the other day with Indy's help (see the sacked out fizzer minus it's shock) and managed to get my wof, since then I've been on two longish rides and it's still a rather bumpy ride.

I hear about people changing the preload or something, can you see anything that might elude to this in these photos?

The photos are of the old shock because as you can see it's not so easy to see the new one. Odd thing is that a 2kr model shock wouldn't fit in my 2kr bike, so I've got one from a 3ln. Also I've never seen another 2kr with an exup exhaust....

You need to bash that collet around with the trusty hammer/flathead screwdriver preload adjusting tool to a lower setting i.e. so the tab is in the "2" or maybe "1" slot.

It moves somehow....you just need to work out how (I'm picking brute force).
