Akl Thurs Night Ride 27th Oct

We seem to be starting a keen following for these Thursday night blats......

What: A romp in the Northern Valleys
When: Thursday night after work on the 27th Oct
Where: Meeting @ Shell Westgate
Why: Just because!!

Well, the votes are in and the people have spoken! Meeting @ 6.30pm leaving 6.45ish (for those late-comers)...

Route inteaded is from Westgate we travel north to Old North Rd, follow that for approx 5 or 6 kms then turn onto Peak Road following all the way to SH16. We then turn right onto Kahiakatea Flats Road (nice long straights) ending up at Dairy Flat (by Caltex) which is now called SH17 (used to be SH1). We turn right onto SH17, travel 2 or 3 kms then (this is the important part guys!! you know who I'm talking about....

) turn right into Green Rd then right into Sunnyside then right at Riverhead-Coastville Highway. We blat down this Rd for 3kms then turn left into Wake Rd. This road takes us to the Paremoremo Prison where most of you buggers come from (just kiddin) we turn left then right into Paremoremo Rd. Good bit of 'interesting road' for 5kms then we arrive @ Albany. Last stop Old Albany Pub.

Only hopefully the weather WILL stay good for us but as Juzzer puts it.... maybe I should post the next ride as you only seem to bring on the rain...
I WILL POSTPONE TILL THE FOLLOWING THURS NIGHT ONLY IF THE WEATHER IS SHITE.

This ride caters for all levels of riding - so Learner/newbies are welcome!!

Will try to post a rough map if I have time!!

i hope to be there,
ill be happy to tag along the back and "guide" and lost bikers on the way
otherwise ill head back down peak rd /old north road again cos i live just at teh beginning of it

Sweet as it looks like it will be an early start, early drinking - opps, I meant early finish........ hey Texmo, I think you'll have to make a booking to be Dovers' bitch....

AND YES THIS RIDE IS WEATHER PERMITTING! (Knowing my past luck, it will be fine up to Thursday night then it will let loose.........)

Nah dover cant help himself, a 18year old boy in leathers who looks like a gimp and likes to fondel with his nippel pearcings, although I wont go to the extend on playing with his bullbars wif ma tounge like juzzer....

no you didnt lick them just my right ear.... hmmm your 2.2 times older than me or 22 years old and just working out all this into i figured out 18 goes into 40 a lot more than 40 goes into 18....
