Until last night I'd never heard of this movie - but went along to the Prem all the same.... and it was actually really good!
Little hard to explain; but essentially Harry (a bit of a small town idiot) narrates his own fucked up story of what happened last Christmas.
His petty robbery (or "Xmas Shopping") leads him to a potential career in acting... his role... a detective! He finds himself thrown into the cut-throat world of L.A.'s sleazy pros, cons, losers and wannabes. Teamed with Private Eye "Gay Perry" (for reasearch purposes) they stumble onto a murder case. Along with his childhood crush, the now gorgeous aspiring actress Harmony, they attempt to solve the mystery - paperback fiction style!
There's murders, twisted "Pulp Fiction" plots, titties (for the lads), comedy, thrills... and then there's that body in the bathtub...
Pretty awesome flick if you have the right sence of humour and are looking for a comedy thriller with all the steamy twists and turns!!!
