Thumbs up for sale: broken rgv150

ok heres the deal. everything is in mint condition except the head and some piston rings shrapnell around the barrell. could probably do with either a grind or a new barrell head too.

I want $1400 for it to cover my losses but Ill settle for $1000 ono to you fulla's I recon it will cost $600-$900 to get mint again (which is new piston head, new rings etc) from colemans. I havent taken it in for a quote yet.

I will throw in. $140 worth of 2t oil (3.5L of $100 a 4l oil and 2L of BP shit)
my sissy bar adaptation allowing you to throw on a pizza box or camping gear.
all my paints and clearcoats and sandpaper if you want it. has a toolkit. rear tire is a few months old chain is too. no dents in the tank or anything else like that.

its 2001 with 22k or so on the clock. both brakes and forks are mint. great condition apart from this engine thing.

awesome learners bike with gear/neutral display, small frame for easily sliding inbetween rows of traffic. reasonably fast off the lights but top speed is about 140kpm

single cylinder 2 stroke, takes 15.1L of fuel and 1L of oil. gets about 200k to the tank if you ride it hard (possibly 400k if you ride like a super nana)

Little bit of minor rust in some area's such as the exhaust and on the gear lever

in the 10 months ive had it. ive given it a new rear tire and tube, new piston head and new chain.

selling to buy a bike that can go longer distances as this bike needs to cool if you ride it at 110k for too long.

btw: its faster than the gn250

    bump.
if I cant get some money for this Ill have to rebuild it when I've paid it off and flick it off then, but with 4 loans at the moment thats really not reasonable. inspections welcome. all offers considered.

    Pyrocam, I can't believe I didn't see this thread.
I have some RGV150 pistons in stock. You probably need a 0.5 overbore to ensure all the scratches etc are gone.

The price for a piston kit including courier delivery is $64.90. The kit include piston, rings, pins and circlips.

To have your cylinder rebored should cost about $40. And as it's an aircooled single 2 stroke a trained monkey can put it back together again (even I can do it!).

So for about $105 you (or anybody looking at buying it) can have it back on the road.

Hope this helps one way or another.
    Cheers,
