    Howdy

    I'm a newbie

Was looking for bike clubs in the Auckland area for a bit of riding time.
Had my learners for about 7 or 8 years (only rode dirt bikes) and got sick of having the 'learner' on my lic so brought the old spada and got my full ... as ya do. Been meaning to upgrade for over a year now but as my username suggests I get rather busy (procrastantion is my friend as well - spelling aint)

I was down Huntly on Sunday and on the way back I saw a group of bikes, several with L plates, maybe this was you ... so yeah, did a search or three and here I am.

Without giving my life story *hey stop cheering* been riding for lots of years off and on, more off than on, really need some more hours under my belt but reckon I can handle my own *coming from a guy who still rides a 250 *

Hope to become part of the furniture here, join a few rides and who knows even marry one of ya, just kidding, me missus could kill me if I brought another woman home *please can I keep her ... she followed me home ... honest*

Am meant to be going to the public fireworks display but reckon I could at least get the ride and the early stages of the BBQ in, would be rude not to introduce myself. *wonders where one carries meat though*
Hope you post some details there Waylander of time and place

Welcome mate, don't worry too much about john, he is quite harmless.

Thanks, am sure I'll blend in.

Not that it matters, but whats the general age around here? I've read a few threads (lots of posts to read, am just lucky some have pictures ) and it seems there is a mix but am guessing mostly younger.
Age is only a number right, I'm 36 and know some teenagers more mature than me - I wanna be a kid again, they got cool toys which we never had!

Hey John, no idea what the squirts are. I get on with most people, the ones I don't I just bury in the back yard

Just time and money. I have a bad habit of jumping on a plane and seeing the world (last trip cost me 30k - 9months, 48 states in the US later) or building totally unpractical hotrods.

A bigger bike with a trailer would be ideal for carting stuff around, like today, was meant to go down to Thames to pick up some suspension parts, was going to take the bike until I found out they have a radiator for me as well

*gotta win lotto so can get a helicopter *
