Look, I'm probably one of the KBers who's most obsessive about bikes, yet I think it would be sad if this forum was rigorously policed and constrained to eliminate too much of the non-bike stuff. Apart from anything else, most of my posts would be deleted, I'd have to do some work, and I'd go mad and kill myself.

But apparently, not those who don't fit certain subjective criteria.
    Apparently.

Yes, there's WAAAAAY too much crap on here, and maybe we need more mods, but not more PCness or so much constraint that we lose the flavour we have now.

Or summat. Or not, etc etc.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

it was intended to be about bikes, and has subsequently been broken down into relevant sections to try and keep it that way.

Threads arent so much the problem, its more some of the posts that people put up that tend to detract from the relevant topics been spoken about.

In the 'new members' forum wari has a sticky thread that says 'please keep personal issues restricted to PM'... but no one really seems to do that anymore.

I was looking back at some old threads the other day, and it made me sad how horrible some things have gotten.

In order to please His Majesty the D, I say that "Jokes and Humour" threads (which are rarely funny) do not show up in "New Posts", and that Moderators grow some Cajones and tell people to stop shitting up people's threads.

i dont want that either, the site is being run fine as it is. And PC is shite, i just dont want people to be offended/pissed off to the point that they pack up and leave the community for good.

It would just be better to see people thinking about what they post before they post, the site can still be funny/bizarre/whatever within that restraint (is it really that hard to think before click 'submit reply'), it was simply bought to my attention that perhaps some people dont do that at all.

Thats getting political as you wuld have to have some kind of 'charter' or established guideline. Not long after that this post will be about Mods lauding it over us plebs with comparisons to a labour governement or something.

I wonder if GoatFood, farQ2, Beelzebub et alia will want to go too...
Mind you, they don't post as much shit as me, so they're probably more welcome here.

I think there are alot of people out here that have become tired of the way things appear to have gone. I have only been here for a relatively short time and have found myself getting drawn into mudslinging. We behave here the way we perceive we will be seen or not 'seen'. There is protection to be had by sitting at your keyboard banging away without restriction. A timely reminder to self regulate.
And thanks to the KBers who've offered help and advice through this site.

a lot of points bought up here are similar to the ones that were posted in the thread from WRT "things that tick you off about this site", before that got hijacked and spun in various directions.

I think the point has been made. I have really enjoyed this site and want to continue to do so. I'm proud to be a Kiwi Biker. Let's try to use some common courtesy and keep enjoying it.

This forum is no different from society. Some people take things the wrong way, some people take some things WAY too seriously. Difference is, on here you can't see facial expressions, can't hear tone of voice, and can't judge personalities since you are exposed to only the few limited comments that are written.

How do people cope reading newspapers or watching the news? When something comes on they don't want to see, are not interested in, or are offended by - don't listen/read/watch! Skip to the next one.

    Harden up.

Yes you may like your drivel, as pointed out previously the site is not about "You". It is in fact about Motorcycles and meeting each other in the real world. Something Fish cannot participate in being the figment of somebodies imagination

Keep the insults coming, I think a tear is forming
