it's a bit like talking shit at the pub - it's just that. you start talking about 1 thing, it goes all around the table, and finally, after talking beer, titties and wheelies, it gets back to subject. i used to block some members cause i thought they were trolls, but i got over that, and i just laugh now.

maybe there should be 'serious shit only' thread.

and if you look at some of the rubbish - 'how do i get rid of L plate', 'has anyone got a 12mm spanner' (yes, the $2 shop has heaps of them) type threads - FFS - expect some shit.

Another thing that was bought to my attention was that some personalities are 'taking over' as it would be... this i believe just comes down to real life personality, but some have been offended by others simply in the way they seem to overide other peoples opinions/plans/whatever. Again, a little consideration for others would have this problem gone.

So please, a little more consideration from everyone and we can get KB back to being about bikes - THINK before you post, is it relevant to the topic, will it annoy the people talking about the said topic?

I think that the best unwritten rule in KB is: "do not take things too seriously!". I tend to think this thread is breaking that rule Gareth. You and these others you mention need to just sit back and learn to ignore the threads, and members if necessary, who rock your boat. Many a KBer has come to a point where he/she is sick of the place and talks about leaving or whatever, has a break from it for a while and then joins back in. I can only think of a few main contributors who have left KB, and they probably all still lurk/visit. But KB continues to grow, what into we don't know, but let's just let the site develop on its own!

KB is a living, online community that has grown into what it is today because of those who participate. Most of the pillars of KB are still posting today - that's saying something very positive about where KB is at!

Now this also bothers me. And I wonder how come people continually hand me brown bottles or green ones WITHOUT Steinlager on the front at partys, while they go and fetch one of mine for themselves! Brown beer bottles indeed.........
