I have a sleeper in my upper ear, beanie irritates it BAD. So it all depends, you'll prolly have the same problem anyway even with a balaclava on

I'm hoping it'll only be an irritation, nothing painful. I'm quite keen on my long rides so it'd be a shame to have to have one or the other. An expensive shame too

Won't be painful. Only thing I've found with my upper ear is that if its irritated enough, and for long periods of time a lump will eventually form behind my ear, and infection sets in. Sounds horrible I know, but maybe it won't be so bad with your eyebrow. Hey you might get it done and have absolutely no problems! Get it done, and enjoy If not take it out and go back to enjoying the bike, you can at least say you had the guts to get it done in the first place!

Mm, I just threw the helmet on and felt around where I'd probably be getting it done and it may not even come in contact. I'll go for the stab and see, usually I'm too focused on the ride for irritations anyway:P Ta for the advice
