A Tiger in sunny Nelson

While spending a few days on holiday in Nelson last week (flew over) I hired a Triumph Tiger 955i for a day from the very helpful guys at Thunderbike Powersports. (Well actually from their sister Co. - Go Tour NZ)
We rode from Nelson out to Motueka for coffee and then headed over the Takaka Hill to Golden Bay. Absolutly brilliant weather and the bike was ideal for those S.I roads. Big and roomy without being bulky and plenty of power delivered very smoothly. Handled well in the twisties too. Amost forgot I had a pillion. As I had the bike for 24hrs I got out again on my own later and checked out some of the other byroads (and a few off roads) around Nelson. I found the Tiger was quite happy around town and didnt mind non sealed surfaces too much either. Those guys at Thunderbike set the bikes up well with lots of extras and well generally helpfull - I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.
