    Cool

Hey Gareth - a great ride you organised for today mate....
I enjoyed it heaps.... AWESOME dude.
Nice to meet your pillion today as well.

When you and Strat headed down to Titirangi to find Tristank, I enjoyed my wee potter out along Piha Rd into Piha... and ended up chatting to a older man who also used to ride bikes years ago, while I was waiting for you all to show up.

It was nice to discover there is another road out there to get a feed...
I had never known about that road before...
Plus when you took us for a scenic ride around and around the carpark

Strat - Nice to meet you today... for a learner you ride really well...

Tristank - Great to see you again, its been a while.

Yep and the Queen of Slow did catch up to Tristank at the gas station.

Haha, was wondering when someone would post here.

Good to meet ya strat! I might be keen to do them next week some time, we shall see...
    - Gareth rides like a pussy so don't worry, he is just medium-slow.

Good to see you all there, (Strat, Crashe, Gareth and Kelly?) 'twas good weather while it lasted. I'll try be more on time next time though and also make sure I have enough fuel - which was more than enough in the end.

    Thanks guys and gals.

We felt sooo cool doing laps around the car park - I droped my tinted visor for more effect ( or to hide the shame)

I'm meaning the fact that I was supposed to be meeting you guys at the start of scenic drive (where you all met), not Titirangi or Piha!

Gah! I would have been keen for this ride if I had woken up prior to 11am.

look it up sometime tristan - now that I know you can multitask

Superdave - somehow tristan still "made it"

I got woken up via my personal cellphone bitch aka Gareth at 12:05 or so!

Got up, ate something, brushed teeth and out the door! Traffic was really heavy around the greenlane interchange for some reason... sorry mr gold late model honda accord... it was only a little brush of the mirror

lol, chicks name was Stacey. She really enjoyed it but she said they guy on the blue/purple bike was a bit wierd

Gav, she aint to bad aye, i think she was holding on a bit tighter than she needed to tho

Did the rest of you have any troubles with a white van? As i went up the hill out of piha the driver cut me off (as in moved right into the right hand lane) as i passed, almost ran into a power poll... followed by "fucking motorcyclists"... i checked both sides to make sure they wouldnt need to move over, so im assuming it was on purpose.

oh yeh and i was late for work by about 1.5hrs!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Yeah seems like yours is the blue and purple one eh

I think I blew past that van at 140+ after he didn't pull over for anyone (mabey 3+ cars behind him on a wide road). Bastard.

Good to ride out there, quite nice and scenic.

edit: just getting my camchain done and sorting out a bus ride from home to work on rideline :/

    Cool

Gareth - Strat and I had a male stop his vehicle in the middle of Swanson Rd on the way out to Scenic Drive.

I mean why the hell stop in the middle of the road for no reason.... well ok there was a reason.
He spotted someone wanting to leave their driveway...
So he decided to STOP the flow of traffic..... like hellllooooo !!!!

We all stopped behind him.... I could see around the front of his vehicle and there was nothing ahead of him....
so why the idiot decided to stop is totally beyond me.

Yep he got a earfull of my AIRHORN in his ear when I finally went past him.

That was the idiot of the day for me.
