(Hamilton motorcycles on the left and Boyd Honda and Road and sport on the right) Can meet at one of those and guide you to the BBQ spot. At say 11:30?
The weather is looking good for tomorrow, and the bike is happy again (Story to tell at BBQ). Mrs P is still umming and ahhing, but I reckon we'll make it. Have looked up a map (Thank you wises.co.nz) and the location doesn't look too difficult to find from SH1...(furiously reaches for nearest wooden object...)

We'll be lateish I think, so don't sweat it looking out for us waylander (Top offer though - blardy good idea meeting people. You may yet be sent out as a search party )

See you all tomorrow I hope. Look forward to meeting you all

Ok I admit I'm getting quite excited now, I feel like a little kid eagerly awaiting a big christmas party and unwrapping a heck of a lot of presents (not that it ever happened to me.) Wolf and I are looking forward to meeting a lot of you and just chilling and enjoying ourselves in good company. We look forward to meeting you all tomorrow have a good safe trip to our place from where ever you are traveling from. Take care, it's a mad world out there as if you didn't already know. lol

Sorry Guys, I'm going to be a totally lame c*nt. Not coming down. Know I'll regret it as it should be an awesome BBQ Have received a call from a follow Northlander that I haven't ridden with for awhile. He's asked me if I wanted to ride with them up here tomorrow. I'm torn, but at the end of the day this is closer for me (been a hard week so a close ride will be better for the body). Hope you have a good one, hope to catch you another time

    A big Thank you

A big thank you to all that turned up and helped make it a wonderful day. Off the top of my head thank you to Crashe, Waylander and Road Rash, HDT Boy, Momentum, Phurrball, LiasTZ and those who brought their Girlfriends, Wive's etc... If I have missed anybody, I am sorry. Thanks again for turning up. Without you it would have just been a boring hot day with nothing to do. lol. I hope you all had a great safe ride back to your homes. Take care. .

    Ah, 'twas great. Our pleasure.

Phurrball and his lady arrived after everyone but thee had buggered off to ride to Raglan and you'd headed off. We'd even tidied up and "done the dishes" (involving a plastic rubbish sack and 3 minutes' work, gotta love plastic plates (oops, losing my Eco-friendly-Hippy cred, does it help that the rubbish bag is recycled plastic and biodegradeable?))

So we had "BBQ MkII" with Phurrball and his lady and discovered that an FXR150 is too tall for Stray but the Bandit 250 is an ideal size for me. (Tho' the FXR's economy is a major selling point - they both started at full and the Bandit used 3/4 tank while the FXR used only a quarter.)

Was saying to Stray that perhaps it was just as well that we don't have a bike at the moment or we'd've probably phoned Stray's parents and got them to baby-sit the cubs while we joined the others on the Raglan ride - and we'd've missed meeting Phurrball and Mrs P.

Plus this time StrayJuliet got to sit on my bike as well.. and had no trouble reaching the ground.

Im interested in knowing how she gets on when she sits on Waylander's Honda Rebel 250 as well. Height and seat width wise.
For me its the air boxes on the side that make the seat to wide for me and then I cant get my feet to touch the ground.. Bad designing there Honda.

Isn't it amazing which bikes people think you can sit comfortably on and yet the bike is so deceptive in height and seat width.

I sat on the GN250 and it was miles to high and that seat was so uncomfortable and hard.

Just glad you made it down before your SH22 run. Was good meeting you - always nice meeting someone with a suitable capacity for steak (even if you do prefer it "cremated"...)

a steak should be eaten when you know it is DEAD and has no blood dripping out of it.

I kinda figure it's dead when it stops screaming and trying to get away...

...which is usually more cooked than I like it, I must confess...

He aint called Wolf for nothing HDTboy don't feel bad about leaving early just be glad you turned up after all we are. Again a big thanks to all that turned up was a lovely day. I was glad I was able to meet a lot of new people who enjoy motorbikes as much as wolf and myself do. I am thinking of having another BBQ, maybe next year after baby is born so that the KBers can meet the new edition to the wolf clan, and I hope you will all turn up for that as well. Take care and always be safe.
