    I'm a bit peckish (hehe)
If you want to sleep in we'll meet you in Waihi or Thames, but if you havent been over the hill to Thames... it's not something any KBer should be deprived of...

Yeah, it should be fun... the guy on the YZF1000 (Darrel) has just brough himself an 04 R1 (power comander and full olins kit too)

But watch out... I think hes a bit crazy, pulled off a mono at 160km+ on Sunday... scared the shit outta me when he went past, you dont expect that kinda thing at that speed.

About 110 on the open road, the twisties around the same speed but some guys may go faster but thats up to them... we'll stop at all the turn-offs and wait for the slower guys so no problem there.

Should be back by 4pm easy... there are more direct routes home if you want to get home before 4pm.

T'was one the best eva...3 of us left Tauranga to meet Saul 5minutes down the road, when we got there, another 5 guys were waiting and we all took off to Waihi, me and two others went for breakfast and the others carried on to Whangamata, we followed after breakfast and caught the other guys just as they were leaving Whangamata (good timing)
We all rode through to Kopu where we parted again, the 3 of us headed up to Coromandel to see an old friend and the others (i persume) headed back to Tauranga the long way.

After a long visit we headed home via Matamata (straight roads were a little boring )
We rode hard up the Kaimais to see who had the fastest bike (I lost, which did not surprise me leading an 04 R1 and a YZF1000 up the hill on my RF)

We all had sticky tyres and petrol in our veins... it might have scared the shit out of a few cages with 3 bikes filtering past... but dam! who cares.

We finished off with a few cold ones at my place, and some tall stories of the day... no one got a ticket, no one binned and the sun was watching us all day

We couldnt have asked for a better day... I must admit, I need a break from the bike for a few days.

You should have followed the ranges on Old TeAroha/Gordon Road as you came through TeAroha...you get past Thompsons track and the roads are very unstraight

You guys didnt happen to come across a Black, and a Red VTR possibly with a LE 05 GSXR in tow ...they went Waihi/Whanga/Kopu to meet a dude there on a ZX12??

You know who the black VTR is dont you Saul?

    Hi mate.:spudguita

I didn't go the Te Aroha way we split up at Thames.

My mate and I and a few chaps who we meet on the day did the the circuit through the gorge as I had to get home for family commitments.

Last quarter is dead boring (as you know).

It was a fun day though.

    New tyres today
