    Discussing accidents

Do not intend to get into the whole who's right and who's wrong thing here.

We have always had a bit of an unwritten rule about bins, normally no one posts story or pics till the person who bins has owned up, okay if there in a bad way we try to wait till family are informed.(as said not always practical).

Of course because its unwritten, how do newer and well meaning kbers know about it,well I guess they don't ! our bad

This is not about censorship ,just thinking about others, and yeah ok as I said if you don,t know how do you know if it's "Not the done thing"

I have known Jimmy, (White Trash ) for a while,(one of my few good mates) he's done a lot for kb and is in IMHO a bloody well respected member of KB...

I have not met (been introduced)or ridden with the other Jim (Blackyossi), I seen him around,, I have heard glowing reports about what a good ride he puts on and how he takes care of those who ride with him, both on the ride and at the after match fuction.(very much like a number of other kbers)

Both of these guys seem to have the best interst of KB in their hearts !!

Both of these guys seem to have a good following of kb mates, who are willing to jump to their defence.... that's cool...to a point

But we don't need this shit slinging and abuse, with new members comes a new dynamic, nothing wrong with that, just try to understand our funny ways, we for our part should try to adapt with you guys,

I don't expect everyone to agree with each other, but let's try to cut down the abuse..and try to understand the other point of view.

    Hear hear. Well said FF
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Perhaps a sticky thread for new members to be able to read so we don't balls up could go down well...wouldn't hurt anyways.
Can be a bit difficult joining a forum like this and trying to work its dynamics without piss'n someone off.

some guy binned, some guys talk, and the others cried foul.
    Just the usual...
Only this time we decided to make it a little more spectacular. Slow days, you see?

Anyways, if your hand is really itchy then probably you can post bin if you really need to, but might not want to name the rider until everything is clear? Y'know...."PM me for further details" and such. Just my 2c.

I know that you said you don't wanna get in to a shit fight about right and wrong...but can it be avoided? If you just say "it's the way we do things around here", then it's promoting the kind of thinking proven in the "Monkey Experiment" (involving a stack of bananas, some sprinklers, if you don't know of it I can explain)...i.e. don't think, just follow tradition...reminds me of boarding school.

When someone (Yoshi) who cares about a dude (dss3, not in a touchy way I'm sure), posts on the forum to let others who give a toss about dss3's safety and well being know he's in a difficult situation, what's wrong with that? Maybe if the guy who binned is super sensitive, then spreading it would be a bad thing, but dss3 seems like a pretty chilled dude who would take this kind of thing in his stride, and who may appreciate the genuine concern of others about his well-being.

The point of this post is that etiquette and rules should still have to stand up to reason. If the older members can articulately explain why it is wrong in a controlled manner, rather than entering a slanging match with the weapons of choice being "you're a dick", "you're a cunt", "come here, I'll smash you", etc. We might all be a bitter and wiser for it.

I'm afraid some relative newbies have already entered into a slanging match and a bunch of people have assumed incorrectly which crash is under discussion.

A word to the wise: don't post crash data or photos while people are still in A&E. I've had bitter experience of ringing someone to say so & so is in the ambo, concious & lucid, and then having to attend a funeral a week later.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Same type of thing, luckily he just ened up bruised and dazed, but remember that a lot of "other halves" are just waiting to be proven right how dangerous bikes are and if they find out through the grapevine before he/she gets home in one piece it makes it a lot harder on the poor crash-ee.
