Just got back from Taupo. Special thanks to FROSTY and his marshalls etc. Excellent intro format for this noob. Was totally put at ease with the famil laps etc.

Didnt think I did too bad with my intro to track riding. Was very frustrating passing a big bike on the outside around the sweeper a couple fo times only to have him/her nut off into the distance AGAIN with their superior horsepower.

Excellent fun though. Thanks Keystone19 and Poos.

I got every wheelie on film btw (well mostly, I missed a bit cos I would focus on one of the two riders.
If i have missed yours, let me know how far into the session you were and what you looked like, I can get just your run out into its own clip at a higher quality.

Flagging system seemed to work well. Nice of you to try out the inside edge of the hairpin for us Glad you and the SV were OK.

I know it sounds like BS but I really did want to see for myself how slippery that shite was--Um I just diddnt think it was THAT slippery
I sorta expected a lil skid or summat --But as I said --sooo much better to be me on a bike set up to be crashed than one of you lot
Funny thing was I'd pretty much decided to cone that bit of corner off anyways.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

There will be other track days I promise--
this being only the second one I've run there are a few minor issues I want to work through
Like dumb frosty forgetting to tell everyone that on the 4 lap warmup all the marshalls would wave their flags to show the marshal points
Also not mentioning the meaning of stationary flag pointed at your bike
It was hard to know just how much a new track rider would remember

As I had menitoned, thought your familiarise/explaining corners lap was excellent. However buggered if I could hear what you were saying but that was unavoidable. Someone inevitably has their litre-Vtwin running right next to your helmet.
