Taz i dunno who or what the international meet is but I was there on sunday and unless theres a mirical there is NO WAY the tracks gonna be finished by then.
and as for price raising--the shamozzle is --I booked with taupo car club --who sold the track -The new owner put the price up.
Mate its caused me a bit of stress too
I think they are focussing on A-not disrupting the existing track--Yea right--fuck up my favorite corner would they

People will always be cocks - nothing's gonna change that.

Don't stress out mate - you've done a bloody awesome job organising all this for us and making sure this herd/flock/group of cats keeps headed in an organised fashion.

As much as Quasi is trying to push his gear, He is very right about having good gear. Last weekend I was hit in the back by my own bike im still bruised but without a back protecter things could have been much worse.

The international event on Jan 2nd is a drag meet (as in CARS before anyone gets smart!) so the focus is on getting the strip ready first.
Frosty, having been on the track management committee in the past I would suggest that you should have Grumpy confirm your booking arrangements in writing. Just a suggestion from past experience.

Thanks trumpy--Your advise along with chris's advice heard loud and clear.
As I recall the conversation"Yea mate youll be on the new track probably so the price might go up .nahh mate if you're on the old track the price will be the same."
    Ahh well such is life.

    Just to be clear

    Hi guys and girls

I just wanted to make sure people including our main man Frosty did not think I was having a go at him. I have the utmost respect for frosty and all the organising he does, especially this one as it is obviously causing him some grief.

I just get pissed off with people that don't live up to what they say or honour things in place if you get what I mean.

As for the international thing yes I did know it was a Drag sesh but you would think as an international thing they would have the whole place done to show the world what they have!!!! I am not going to go any further with that as it open up whole new can of worms.

I hope you are all well and happy

Thank you Frosty for all your hard work and patience

    Taz

A big Thank you to Marty at typeface for sponsoring me to have a go in my first race

Thanks to Steven at kittyosheas for building the computer program we're using at the sprints and the Hill Climb.

Understand your frustration Tazman and I would fully agree with you. Unfortunately this was never going to happen within the the timeframe available. Despite any belief he may have to the contrary, Grumpy is NOT the official spokesperson for the developers/owners.

Would love to join in and need the experience, but will have to wait till next event. Taupo sounds like a happening track, cant wait to have the pleasure. Looks like everything is getting well organised to. Good on everyone who volunteers their help, makes for a great event

You can get lunch ya self if your still hungry - take your cage - it mite rain. Print off all the fine advise on the survival thread if you want to ride down.

Failing that, you need some wets - 120ish width to cut through the surface water. No you cant have mine.
