    Cheers guys

So Normal bar ends (Aluminium) wont be ok ?
rest of it shouldn't to much of a problem.

Sorry the kart guys make us jump through hoops to make sure no damage occurs on the track. The PN track is now not in use as they won't let us.

So plastic covered the bikes are. Doesn't take too long & small price to pay for a brilliant track. Just lie the bike over & see what touches. Sticky out axles or pipes you can get a block of nylon or acetal & counter bore it & screw it on, or some use exhaust clamps with nylon on the other side. I have a axle end that threads onto the extra bit of the axle & screws on hard.

Footpegs, counter bore some holes & bolt on the bottom. I have cheap after market ones with holes in the ends & I got some rod turned up to press fit in the end like bar ends. Find some off cut & take a couple of things to the local lathe guy while there's heaps of time.

its still in use on the last Sunday of the month. though it is getting tough for them to run with all the new housing developments, same as most tracks in the country.
The Palmerston North kart club has never really liked the buckets on the track even 10 years ago our club had to jump through some serious hoops to get out there.

Thanks ivan and f5 dave for your help. I've sorted out the footpegs (did it years ago) the rest shouldn't be to much of the drama, I'll just dig out the welder and sort some lugs and stuff. Dave do you still have that very sexy RG50 ? is it still on the pace these days ? I've been tring to get hold of Ray Wilson and see if he keen on coming down as well.

The RG is a bit like grandpa’s axe, (Here's the version before in pic), but yes I still race it. Haven’t seen Ray for a while but yeah try get hold of him, last time I saw him was Wanganui street races, think he was still carpet laying in PN. Did you buy the RG/TS from him?

If so I built that. Well some of it. Actually the pic doesn't look like it, Ray's had spoked wheels.

Where are the rest of the PN Bucket guys? Maybe they just got sick of Shane & Lusty's bickering?

The RG was finished about the same time as Ray got your old one (arou nd94-95), It used to be bright green ( with fairings ). I stopped racing it in 97 as I was at uni and couldn't find the time.

As for the rest of the old boys I have no idea, I've only just moved back to Palmerston / NZ and slowly catching up with people.

    Cheers
