There are reasons why doc's say you shouldn't race it not only for your safety but also for other people on the track, concusions can cause blackouts under high blood pressure / high pulse rate, I know i wouldn't want someone tring to out brake me and then blacking out and crashing into me
The thing that you have to remember about broken bones i that they don't take very long to heal but if you rebrake them during the binding process they become as britle as sh1t.
    ok enough of that.
Ray use to have a RG mounted TF100 (with extra rear mounting on the motor to slot into the swingarm) i think he used cb125 wheels and front forks with a larger front disk.

yep it was quick. Mine is much the same in design. good bike a shame about the rider (me).
If you want to convert your RG to a 100 give us a yell I've got a TF casing (trimed to fix the RG mounts), i used it to cut down my motor to fix the frame.

Hey I dont think i want to change my motor but thanks for the offer. I actually have a GT125 with a Aprillia RS50 chassis you wouldnt believe how similar these chassis are from the Honda RS125 chassis only diff is one is higher than the other so they handle well and the good thing is that the Gt has power to slide the back wheel and all out of the corners cool a

Yep I'll be there i think - unless i cant get the protection sorted out,
though well on the way tonight - bar end, pegs and gear lever sorted and finished welding up the swing arm points . so half way there.

does / has anyone added nylon front end ie brake / axle ?? . they don't seem to touch the ground but i think they might have at some stage ! had a few large opps in the past.
also what about brake and cluch levers ? or do we assume that they won't ?
(again large opps have left their marks)

I'm really looking forward to the meeting last time i raced down in wellington I destoryed my old bucket along with my arm and someone else ? maybe Steadman ?? - long time ago.

    cheers

    Brent

Yeah brake & clutch levers ok as long as a ball there. I covered my rear axle as it stuck out with a bit of rod with a thread & shaping inside to rub around the nut. The front one the nut /axle also stuck out & I had a bent bit of metal with some nylon with counter sinks screwed on it.

Now I know who you are. I almost bought that RS off you, yeah?

getting close. - though slow progress with the nylon. and casting new mini levers (just finished a forge - so busy melting anything i can find at the moment, just finished one rear set)

nope no RS, Dave - i think that was Clint, or one of the griffis (sp) boys, but i was around the same time - at most meetings between 94-98 including the all suzuki winter series at manfeild, Ohakea, king of the junction, fun at feilding the list go's on. as long as the bucket racing didn't clash with MX meetings.
I was very young (and most of the time my old man was with me), started buckets when I was 15. I'll have to scan some old photos that might jog your memory.

    Cheers for the help.

    Bert
