    Transport to track day -18.12.05

Is Anybody prepared to put their hand up to provide transport to the KB track day. Be it for gear,Or a bike or maybee a person.
For that matter --who neeeds stuff/bike etc got there?
The Rule is --Them who want stuff transported must get to the person offering helps place--- also contributions to fuel costs
Last time 3 very kind KBers offered the use of a truck and ended up driving round auckland till 2 am --Not fair.
ATM We Need transport for 1) a very sexy looking GB600, 2)a TL thou ,rider and his gear.

I'm happy to split the costs of hiring a van for a couple of bikes, or a box truck for 3+ bikes and 3 bods. I'm sure a cage can be organised for any other bikes in the back. Split, shouldn't cost much.

I can also get hold of a bike trailer too, which is a 1 or 2 trailer if that works better.

I'm looking to transport the bike down, not ride it, so keen to buddy up if poss to share costs

A van would probably take 3 bods/bikes -- A truck would be extra good

Last time, I had a van around the same as yours, but only snugly fit my bike and JSGs. Can't see a third being put in there, but always up for a challenge. A small box truck could easily carry 5 or 6 safely.. need lots of straps too!

sweet, that'll lighten up the trip.. and straps would be handy too. I reckon we could fit the TL and 636 in a van at max, not much for anything else tho.
A box truck would be easier.. And I think JSG has made arrangements anyway, so we can't fit him between the bikes..

... no I haven't made any arrangements...... I thought we were supposed to confirm if you were able to get your mates van closer to the date..... oh well.....

    I'll start asking around........

Does someone have place for a ZXR250 and me??? Going from Central Auckland to the track and back.

I'll need a lift from home as my bike will be stripped and wont be road legal.

I ofcourse will contribute to all costs involved.

    Regards,

    JSG

    from Wgtn

My partner and I were looking at hiring a trailer (just garden variety garage-hire type) and dragging the bike up. We'll have a Primera sedan.

    Room for:
    1 bike
2 adults (to share 100kms each way with dog to kennel)
    maybe some shit in boot

Leaving Saturday, coming back Sunday after trackday.

    Great minds think alike.
My flatmate is willing to drive a truck for us if we all pitch in for the cost of hiring one.
Anyone interested can put their names on a list (can one of the mods set something up?) and we'll sort out cost etc.
Now's the time,we need to know how many so we can work out if its viable.
We'll prolly require you to get yo ass to south aucks though.....
