Nice day for a ride, I headed off home half way down, was just to tired and decided best to go home. Glad to see everyone had a good day. Oh and thanks for the pic Trev.

Dam nail in tyre decided that it didnt want to stay in there and the rear tyre rapidly deflated and the wobble started around a long 65km/hr bend. Kept it together (even with a pillion) and had to come to a stop. Got it fixed (first time I have had to fix one on the side of the road), but decided it was better to turn around and head for home... Got back to the Autobahn at Papakura and the tyre went down again

Got it fixed a second time and just made it home.

Thanks to the KB'ers that stopped and helped and I hope I didnt hold the rest of the pack up for tooo long.. (on a Hayabusa - yeah right! )
Never mind, hope to see you all the next time around....

Anyone know of a good deal I can get on front and rear Pilots this week?
I did wonder where you had got to! hope you enjoyed the little bit you did get anyway (riding), glad you didnt join young Carl in some ditch somewhere.
Look forward to getting a better look at the 'Busa next time.

Good day out TS, many thanks and rep to you man.
I had a great time and so did my mate, thanks to everyone else who showed up and made the effort.
Carl if you are up for it, you can buy me a beer sometime but only if you promise not to need my 'special skills' again for a while! lol. I hope Jacqui (sp?) is ok now you are home.
Great to meet some KBers on the road (and off) at last, I look forward to the next one.
    Cheers

Haha, yeah I was trying to have my own little targa rally despite only having one arm to hold the steerrng wheel, I remember going a bit hot into a L/H'r just before you wheelied past me!

Is quite good in the ute to think, "oh shit, coming in too fast" and just turn the wheel and understeer your way around, instead of a ass-puckering moment that you'd expect if on two wheels!

Good ride, great to be out with good people. Glad to hear that Carls on the mend.

GG good lines following you towards Ngaruawahia, before I stopped and kept someone company while he waited for gas.

Good blat back up the back roads before heading sedatly up the motorway home.
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.
