I remember back in my younger days *cough* when I could goto a timeout or similar gaming arcade and there would be 8 motorbike games all lined up for races.
1. does anyone know any venue's that have some machines hooked up?
2. who is intrested in a championship event racing on said machines.
Ideally. meet up at a bar near the "gaming arcade" have a few beers. draw up the board, have our race's on the machines to find the ultimate winner.
spot prizes and all.
also thought, riding in full gear, make for some funny arse pics.
even if theres only 2 machines linked it can still be done just take longer.
I only posted this because of the global economic crisis
Don't know any in auckland but I know of a pool hall/pub that has two of them down here. Don't know if they are connected or not though.
Sever Now and forever you're just another lost soul about to be mine again see her, you'll never free her you must surrender it all And give life to me again Disturbed - Inside the Fire
I'd be up for that.. and Postie..
What about the game place in Sky City cinema on Queen St?
or there's always the 8 player Daytona in the Control Room..
Hell yeah, sounds good. There's a couple at the arcade in the movies at St Lukes, a most inoppurtune place compared to those given so far but just in case. maybe a rousing watch of Worlds Fastest Indian before the big event.

Someone video it & post it ! sounds like it would be almost a Kiwi version of JACKASS if you all turned up in leathers & gear! LOL!
better I reckon get these MAC weirdos to show how great they are at video editing and get the opening sequence narraration of FASTER mixed in to a vid!
Yeah there are 2 or 4 in the Megabox thing on queen st above borders (timeout?). Old school 500cc gp bike lookalike things
Looks like fun!
AND WE HAVE TO TURN UP IN RACE LEATHERS OR GEAR ETC
A few of us in Wgtn popped down into town one Thurs night and had a few races on four bikes on the (highly simplified) Isle of Man track! Had all the bike gear on - it was a bit of a laugh but kind of hot. Actually I think I was the only one dumb enough to wear my helmet. Safety first though, I always say.
Actually they were 500cc gp bikes too cause they had tiny little pipes on them.

There are Velo's there ? I'm in then
