Weather's looking good out this way, and I'm keen to see what Scenic Drive's all about, so probably see you there at 9.30.

Well seeing as the weather isn't sunny, there will probably be less cars which is good.
But don't cut corners, not much space for errors along that road.. only saying because I'd hate to see anyone damage themselves.. or pride :P

Told you he'd break down. It's a tradition.
Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

    course I did.

    fucking hell.

right so we leave the caltex. i see theres a bunch in front and figure theres a bunch behind. I just see the front bunch turn left so I pull over to let the other guys know to turn. wait till their all through, someone went home cos he wasnt feeling top notch, when I got back on the road you all had gone ahead... got fucked off so went north to like cowpattypatty or something I dont know. on the way back I was experiencing very frustrating power problems. on the northwestern it lost all power and colemans truck had to come out. picked me up took it back to the shop, nothing major, after all the 'omgwtflol you ran outa petrol' lines were over it went for a test ride and some crap in the bottom of the tank had gotten into the carbs. so yeah it was _low_ but not out of fuel.

It was a big KB thing though. there was heaps of people at colemans. congrats on the new job btw you.

Awesome ride, good to get out, even met some more people which is great.

Overall, Scenic Drive ain't bad, but seemed to be a bit too busy, especially cyclists all over the place thinking they owned the road.

Other than that, where were you tristan, I disappointed Rayza, he reckoned I was going to slow... but I like coming home. I was probably too busy perving at his bike as well...

I wonder if it wants to have an affair with me

    Thumbs up Thanks InDeSkyz!

Had a really fun ride today, fairly slow-medium pace, good sized group (about 12 bikes), great weather & road conditions, excellent twisty roads that I've never before explored in the whole time I've lived in Auckland. It was strangely depressing to find that this beautiful little place called Huia existed and I've never ever been there!

Just loved the *adventure* ride up to the dam (see pics) to find such a peaceful plateau of water gushing into a huge man-made hole!

Thanks for the company all, had a good 2 1/2 hour ride and ended up going back home via JSG's Cheenic Dwive. I must admit JSG, all the negative things I've said about your beloved 'Drive' I take back...great road to ride, despite all the cyclists and Nana cagers!!

Looking forward to doing THAT RIDE again soon...is summer here yet?

Pics of InDeSkyz ride today attached + 1 post, the rest can be found here.
