    Screen size, User average

This affects me too. 800 by 600 screen thing I presume.
When you post Wkid, I have to scroll sidways on all the posts on that page to read them, as your signature is so big.

Might be helpful to know what the majority of users use to view the site with.

I sometimes forget about people using smaller res since both my home and work pc are 1600x1200 and everyone else I know uses the same or higher.
I tried this, but it made the text so small it was too hard to read.

I hate large sigs as well. Its a pain in the arse having to scroll a whole page just to see a one line reply.

What I've done is turned them off in my preferences.  You can disable user signatures in User CP/Edit Options.

Same here Mitch. HUGE resolution at work as I have a 21 inch Sony screen (lovely) but the lappy is a 166mhz I'm gamely trying to run XP on, and at 800x600 you have to scroll left and right.

Anyway, who cares about computer problems? Its a lovely day, traffic was courteous today - everyone pulled over to let the fizzer split through the traffic and my bike purred all the way to work...

Only 5.5 hours to go and I'm back on it
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I'm using 1024x768 on 17" monitor at work and one at home, and using 1280x960 on another monitor at home that is 19". Size of monitor is the key otherwise words do get a bit small unless us old guys put our reading glasses on.

I've got twin 21" monitors, but like to keep my Browser window to a slightly discreet size.

Wkid's sig annoys me too, but I s'pose if we're that annoyed about it you can turn off viewing users signatures in your own profile setup.

1600 res here - mind you just bought new monitor which helps - and hence the lack of need to scroll - so I fixed it

1024 x 768 works fine - i use the scroll wheel or auto scroll down and read the posts as they're scrolling past, sometimes pix need a sideways scroll though. i'm running a 19" monitor
