Thanks to Frosty for starting/moving this thread but I can probably get this sorted out myself. Thanks for the offer of parts to Tony and if I get stuck I may take you up on the offer on the exaust can.

Just done a test day at Manfield. Could have raced in the pro twin class tomorrow but something bad happend to my bike. Don't think I'll be at Taupo next weekend now as my leathers are fucked as well.

I hit a bump in the track braking for turn 1 (Coke) and the front wheel locked up. Bike can be fixed has stuffed exaust can, broken brake levers, and fuel tank is dented on opposite side at top when it must have flipped into the pea metal trap. I can fix all this next week without to much hassle.

Will have a good look at front end. It was a cool windy day and my front tyre does'nt look like it was getting that warm. Maybe I should have dropped the pressure a bit as I have braked alot harder other times and not had a problem. Maybe it was the tail wind, the fact I'm getting onto that straight alot faster now and the bike has shed a few more pounds. Was a few laps into the the third session so maybe I just got a bit to confident and screwed up.

My leathers have all the knees and elbows stredded and a couple of other tears on shoulder and back. Don't think I can get these fixed in time.

Will go and watch the racing today and then look at fixing the bike when I get home.

The damage to the bike isn't that bad with the exaust can being the biggest thing to fix and the right clippon a bit bent.

Will look at patching up the leathers tommorow and make a decision later in the week on Taupo.

2 SV's racing at Manfield today. Terry Fitzgerald and Rob Chappell.

Do you think the Scorpion can will be the same diameter as my Yoshi slippon the pipe it goes over is 2 1/4 inch around 57 mm. If I can't get the other stuff fixed I'l just drive up and watch.

Might even buy it off you if you wanna sell it.

Your welcome to use my leathers Garry. They are tight on me at the moment, but I think you are smaller than me?.

Thanks for the offer Alex if I get motivated and sort out some leather I'll hopefully get mine patched up before the weekend. It was just a bit of a shock how much they got ripped up.
