    Dec 18 Taupo trackday MARSHALLS

Folks as at today I have 5 marshalls confirmed for the KB trackday at Taupo.
This is sufficent but Im a lot more comfortable if I have 10
So Im looking for 5 more DEFINITE marshals.
You'll get the best views of the action.
drink. You get a free lunch -subway footlong and a bottled
You get 2 10 minute track sessions -1 at at start of lunch and 1 end of day.
If you ever wondered what it would be like to marshal this will give you a taste but with a lot less complication.

marshalling at a KB trackday is a simplified version of the "real thing" at a race meeting
    marshalling--very very simple--
1)do NOT ever put yourself in danger--ya can't help other people if you are hurt.So STAY PUT
2)if you see someone crash you call on the RT --Rider Down Rider down then wave your flag from your marshall point.there will only be one flag
3)Only once the track is clear of riders do you go out to help the downed rider. At this point your discression is needed--if he's still laying there dont try to help him-call for the amulance---hes on the RT link listening in.
If the bikes pumping oil etc --get it off the track by the quickest route and call for concrete dust and a broom
    Really easy innit

If you acre definitely able to marshal please PM me or give me a yell 0210354615

Yeah Frosty I'm in. I only live three minutes from the track so an easy day for me. Will call you and confirm. Have spent may hours racing cars there so know the track well.
For all those coming for the track day, if you are not keen on leaving your precious bike outside your motel etc, your are more than welcome to leave it in my factory (2 minutes from track). There is plenty of room, we could accommodate at least thirty bikes and the building is on a monitored alarm. We also have a reasonably well equiped engineering section in the factory for any repairs etc. Also have a seven seater 4WD van if required for track, shuttle etc. Just PM and let me know.

If I can't get a replacement engine for my bike - I'll come as a marshall.

Now who can give me a lift down??
