Robert Plant and the dancing banana

    ... are making me seasick.

No, really. Try watching this closely:

while listening to the original studio recording of Trampled Underfoot. It's just close enough in tempo to be unsynchronised yet disorientating as the rhythm noticeably disconnects after two or three bars.

Sorry. Had to share. As you were then.

PMPL!!! What if you used several bananas? Or got them to move at different times? Tried any others?
DO you hear voices from behind the fridge when this happens? Spooky

    You're a sick puppy Dan!

What's even worse is that I think you know it, openly flaunt it, and are proud of it!

What, you mean the 'Trampled Underfoot' part?

    Heh. But I wasn't, you see, so I didn't and it isn't.

    I don't need counselling. I need a faster bike.

Me too mate, me too. *dreams* about the 2004 silver R1, plain white Aria RX-7 RR IV with a dark as tinted visor, White Alpinestar Venom 1 piece race suit with white Alpinestar super tech racing boots and GP PRO gloves. oh yea, and some mean as under seat after market pipes and custom rear indicators and licence plate mount. To finish it off, I'd get Pirelli diablos as well.

    'nuff sed.

Of course, if I ever binned it, I don't think I could do anything but sit on the side of the road and weep for half an hour.

Wow. That would be a nice step up - to a bike that can do more than your FXR's top speed in 1st gear!

Wonder how it would go in the Auckland traffic, J?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Really? I've had the FXR up to an indicated 151. That's pretty tall for first gear on a 750.

Oh. I see. You are being this thing they are calling 'sarcasm'. Ho ho.

TBH I'm really not sure what I'll end up on but I doubt I'll bother getting an 'intermediate bike' just so that I can feel underpowered again in another year. I certainly won't be affording a Brutale or the like but dere's plenty other cheap bikes out there making >100bhp with a little breathing upon that handle much, much 'orribler, too, so... be afraid, y'all.

jrandom, coming sideways to a wet corner near you...

My RC30 used to do 140km/hr in 1st gear.
