if you kill at least 1 possum on your trip though, you get a day's free membership to the Greens.

Meet up with you guys in Thames

    Hey All,

What time do you guys think you'll be passing through Thames.
I might come up from Rotovegas, never done the Coro Loop, sounds like a great days riding.

I could meet up with you guys in Thames and tag along for the loop run.

    Glad to have you along.

Approximate rest/gas stops and arrival times are:
    9:00 - Meet papakura Autobahn
9:30 - Depart Autobahn and follow route thropugh Drury and Hunua to Managatawhiri (map attached)
~10:30 - Gas/rest stop at Thames Caltex @ 209 Pollen St (map attached - not sure if its the right block though)
~11:00 - Stop at lookout on top of hills before Coromandel Town
~11:45 - Regroup at Whitianga turn off just before Coromandel Town
~12:30 - Stop for lunch & gas at the "On the Rocks" bar and grill on Whitianga beach.
    ~1:30 - Depart Whitianga
    ~2:00 - Tairua

    - Then we decide whether to go directly back to Kopu and home via Miranda/Kaiaua/Papakura or go on to Waihi and back through Paeroa to Miranda/Kaiaua/Papakura

Sounds Cool, Weather permitting, I'll be there...
I've attached a link to TUMONZ Live, pinpointing where the Caltex station is.
It's this cool online map of New Zealand. Heaps better than any other map on the internet. Check it out.

If you go directly there via SH2 to Bombay then up SH1 from Tairua it would take ~1 hour.

If you want follow us via Kaiaua and Clevedon, add another 30 mins or so.
