Went to Whangamata for work today and they were resealing and doing repairs on the Kopu - Whitianga road so watch out for a few slippery patches! A few unsealed sections 2 - 4 metres wide in places too.

Totally... really enjoyed my first (and so far only) ride with the KB crew.

I'm heading down from Auckland so if you want to meet somewhere then I can show you the way down.

Think there may be a few new people coming down that way so if anyones unsure of the way to the Autobahn then perhaps a little convoy down from the CBD?

    bike pickup assistance

    alright y'all!!!

tis not looking like im gonna get my front fairing mount bracket in time to join the ride...

HOWEVER - i will be going to Tauranga on Sunday morning with the ZXR on a trailer soooo.... if anyone breaks down or runs off into a tree i will be in the approximate area to pickup (perhaps) but i am intending to be home before the afternoon.

celly is 0272532246 if my assistance is required, gimme a text and i'll see where im at. I know the Coromandel pretty well, including the bushy bits on the side of the road so tell me where its at (if anything) and i'll see what i can do.

    Sweet as...

Outside Colemans, leaving no later than say 8:30?

Gives us plenty of time to get down to the Autobahn.

Anyone who's not sure of the way down can now meet us at Colemans, and if you're lucky we might even keep pace with you all on the ride down to the autobahn

According to the Met Service today, Thames/Coromandel doesn't have any weather scheduled for Sunday at all!! http://www.metservice.co.nz/default/...p?alias=thames

But seriously, as i said, this is my last chance fr a decent ride till the New year, so the ride will be on, rain or shine....and then my boots and gear will be in the dryer that night
