Who was the one on the XV250? I thought I knew of everyone on here that had a Virago.

Certainly rides it well judging by this pic.

    Thanks Kravy

Great day, especially since coming up from the Waikato missed all the rain!

    Highlights:
    - Following Kravy from Whitianga to Taurua - nice pace (somewhat sub Yoshi, but fun never the less)

    - Watching the V-Max go past at warp factor 9

    - the xv250 - that chick can ride

    - ride with Hodgeman through Whangamata to Waihi

    - breaking in the new Pirelli's

    till next time
...and I don't wanna die, just want to ride my motorcy...cle (Arlo Guthrie)

CaN2, Christine... I think... should be. rides the Virago.

Fantastic ride once I'd dried out a bit, best bit by far was just after lunch, through the twisties, bike was still cold, but I must have been leaning heaps, because the strips have been cut down, and the rear is showing some signs of wear (for a 250... )

    Downsides:
    - Trying on a 250 to overtake cars on non-existant straights. Ending up with queues behind just waiting... and waiting... (you were always welcome to pass at warp 9 btw).
    - one point eventually overtaking 2 bloody cars, only to have a stop a couple of corners later at the top of somewhere... gutting to see the cars go past again...
    - bastige big bikes creating a gap between them and traffic, only to close it in a nanosecond. At $1.20 or $1.30 it took me a good 5-10 sec to catch up

    Upsides:
    - All you guys
    - Some of the most fantastic corners yet on a ride (the pass again, sorry, it was a highlight)
    - Leaving you all behind on my road outside Clevedon even that wheelie thingie, it never had a chance, even being >5x capacity

Brilliant. Great job Krayy as well

Next time I will bring a tow rope
It's been a rough day. I got up this morning, put on a shirt and a button fell off.
As I ran out the door, I picked up my briefcase, and the handle came off.
Now I'm afraid to go to the bathroom.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Cheers for the photos Trev,

Never had a photo of me riding my bike before....
Thanks for an awesome ride, loved the roads, awesome buzz.
Finally can put a face to some KB'ers.
Looking forward to another lap around there.
Wasn't too much of a mission from Rotovegas, only an 8 hour round trip.
Going to do the South Island west coast over new years, looking forward to that!

Great to meet such a weird bunch of freaks... lol joking.

    Until next time.
    Ciao
