If your new post is still the last post, then that thread is read so it will no longer appear in the new posts.

    Aha....and the staying signed-in thingy?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hmmm but after i reply to a thread i can't find the thread anywhere. It dissapears from the new posts page and is not on the top of the. Posts not read but not new or whatever section???

    Really confused
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

Im still not keen on the idea that the threads I have read. They don't mark as read when I have read them

Ditto. My normally efficient housekeeping is buggered since the upgrade.

My experience on KB is buggered full stop, since the upgrade

My usual browser won't do the emoticons anymore... Time for a change I guess.

That doesn't make sense. Threads are marked read once read.

Previously if you didn't read all of your subscribed threads or all of the new threads in a session, they didn't reappear next session.

Previously once you had read a subscribed thread in a session, it appeared as read. Now it disappears entirely. Not so new threads, that seem to behave as before.

I'm running Firefox also and when I enter the home page it switches to the'url not found' error screen.

That's all I've noticed so far.

Cool SpankMe - KB Site queries.

I know by now that you must be getting sick of all our queries since you upgraded the site....

I'm sorry, but here is another few questions for you.

1: Before the upgrade on "New Posts" all I had to do was press "REFRESH" or "F5" and it didnt matter that I hadnt been on the site for a little while (like 15 or 20 minutes), but it would update all new posts.

Now this isn't happening at all.

I have to OPEN a thread to read it then it comes up with any new threads.
Sometimes there is a row of threads that I don't find of interest to me..
Like the JOKES section etc... but I am being forced to open a thread to get any new threads to come up.

This seems a silly way to go to update new posts.

Is there anyway that you can fix this problem.

2: Chat room - I have upgraded the Java info, but I can now get the smiley sun thing and then I get "being DENIED access".
It came up with a pop-up with a french name to say YES, NO or cancel.
I said NO cos it was a pop-up... did I do the wrong thing or what.

3: Chat room - Before you used to have it so you knew who was in the chat room. Now there is no way of knowing who if at all anyone is in there.
