20th Anniversary Tiki Tour Run
13- 17 March 2006
RULES
There are few rules to this run, HOWEVER the major one is that you must be at the start each day - you do not have to use the places where we stay, you should make use of friends and family to reduce your costs, that is only right - BUT you must present yourself at the overnight venues the next morning to collect your NEW FLAG for the Day.
This refinement has been added so that all riders get a fair chance at collecting all the allocated ICON points on the same day - Bigger bikes may go faster but smaller bikes can do them all if the rider is prepared to sit in the saddle for the time it takes. The idea is to get as many pictures with flag, rider, and or bike with ICON as possible - at the bottom all pictures will be tallied and mileages will be added from the start.
You may use digital cameras but we want a hard copy at the finish - get them printed on the way. If you are using ordinary cameras they same thing applies you must bring us a set of hard copy pictures to be eligible for the finish award.
The rider with proof of the most Icons visited, and the highest mileage will be eligible for an award (yet to be decided). Rusty's judgement will be final.
All flags will be returned to riders at end of run as mementos of the event.
Day start times will be observed from 7am until 8am - On Wednesday and Friday due to length of the days ride, motorcycles of 250cc or less and scooters many arrange an earlier start time, the overnight Rusty will allocate any earlier start times should they be required,
This concession will be dealt with on a case by case basis a GN250 will be allowed extra time and a CBR250RR will start with the rest.
All costs for meals, accommodation etc, are at your expense with the exception of the end of run meal at the RNMC Clubrooms (Eagle Tavern Bluff) There will be some refreshments also provided. At the clubrooms.
