Some solvents will take the coating off so just clean in soap n water, personally I think black is the new black.

    Sounds like a plan,

My helmet is a HJC one, so perhaps wait until next payday then check some out.

Had a quick shifty in Red Baron the other day and didn't see any around. Motohaus or AMPs perhaps?

CL14's are $99.00 inc for irridium or $59.00 for dark smoke.
    What model is your lid?

I would suggest a smoked one mate. The iridium coating on mine scratched easier than the original and bug juice coroded the stuff off. It lasted all of 3 months before I had to chuck it (an HJC one)

Ive got an iridium on my Shoei and Arai and they've lasted real well, including one off. Soapy water only to clean and I agree with the fingerprint thing. Handle only on the edges or live with fingerprint spots.
