I agree with you MR.

Sex is great - it's a lot of fun...... but at the end sex is sex --- sometimes we need a bit more.

There is a distinct difference between making love and sex.

The former is always special as there is the whole psychological aspect to it, the latter can become - rather mechanical - as in the end it is just a physical act.

Usually when a girl says they've 'hooked up' it means they have 'made out' not had sex, this happens alot .I know plenty of girls who did this kinda thing when they were 15 - 18yrs. Competitions galore!

OK, lets think about this a bit. If they mean "Intercourse" when they say "Hooked Up With", she was really quick about it (less say 5mins each and no orgasm), only did them one at a time (and only once each), didn't have to waste time seducing, and they were already naked. 26 "Hook Ups" would take 130 minutes or 2 hours 10minutes flat out. Now take in account the time it would take the average drunk teen to strip (that would at least double the time needed) and having to find 26 willing "partners" (which would have to triple it), she would have been hard pushed (excuse the pun) to have done that many in the time it took the party to run it cause (IMHO).
So unless she meant "Hooked Up With" as something else then I think she's full of shit and was just trying to impress other teens.

Oh to be young again......NOT!

I think I understand the universal message of more is better - unfortunately when it comes to teenagers, they kinda get hooked up into it even though they really do know better.

And yeah, making love with someone who you are free to be you with is something that can't be explained unless you have experienced it. In a fucked up way it is sooo intense that you could nearly cry...well maybe not the guys, lol.

If only you could show your teenagers the difference and explain that if they could get the whole making love thing then the sex comes for free!

ATM, I'm working 14 hour days so I just got back and WOW, that's a lot of posts!

Sorry about the confusion but KLOWN has got it. When I said "hooked up", it means to make out and not have full sexual intercourse. Of course actual sexual intercourse is involved here as well but not every "hook up" means going all the way... 26 sounds like a high number but the girls at the party (I was there at the party) were more like athelits in a competitive sport, jumping and shoving their tongue from one guy's throat to the next in an attempt to out do the opponent. No I am not talking about a girl rooting 26 guys in one night even though she may have gone all the way with a few. It shocked me to begin with then made me a little sick.

In actual fact, talking to friends (around my age) around me, very few share my view. It is reassuring to see that quite a lot of you out there share a similar concern to mine.

Thank you for your posts, I have read every single one of them properly and I appreciate the input from everyone. It feels REALLY good to know that I am not alone in this
