Damn I'm still at work - otherwise would come down with the puncture repair kit if that would help........-- ring Frosty he lives pretty close.

Screw the bung in the hole. Buy a new tyre, your life is worth more than $250.

A repaired tyre isn't the best. You need the safest tyres available - that's good quality new tyres.

i wouldnt risk it on a stock setup man..the brew i run hots up at about 104 octane (40/60 mix of fast-burn Elf/ BP98 and Elf octane boost wit a cherry on top)
( might try a dose of Hydrogen Peroxide just for giggles at a later date)

...im not running stock compression, my engine is blueprinted, running 3 amp coils and is over maintained. ( 20w50 Golden Spectro SemiSyn during summer, changed at 4k with new NGK's at 8k)

i run that mix daily..the shit octane boost you get at Super Cheap or Repco will fuck your engine.. thats why i always recomment the boy racers use it.. ( yea man.. 2 bottles should work even better.. get close to 200 octane...)

you could try it but i hope you like taking your engine apart to replace pistons..
