    Repairs to Leathers

In the process of fixing up my leathers for Sunday

Bought some leather and cut a new back panel that is now being sewn into the suit at a saddlery that has done stuff for me before.

Most of the other damage is on the outside of armour pockets and I have so far glued leather patches underneath the holes with Sellys Multigrip which sticks leather together dam well.

What I would like to know is would this pass scrutineering as the leathers have no holes anywhere as theres another layer of leather under the armour.

I feel 100% happy to slide down the track again with them as they are now.
I'm pretty sure I've seen other guys just tape up over the same places with gaffa tape.

Will probably sit down tommorrow and hand sew some patches over the top but just wanted someones opinion on whats acceptable.

Garry IMHO --you need a replacement suit.Im not being nasty mate but given the relatively slow speed of the crash and the extent of the damage --I think theyve done their dash mate.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
