Went to the Pink Floyd Experience concert in Perth last night. Thoroughly enjoyed a top performance. All the band played their parts incredibly well. Stan Gratkowski's voice is so incredibly like Roger Waters, it's uncanny. Awesome.
    A N.Z band to boot!

I must have lived a sheltered life... only been to two concerts.

Guns and Roses in Auck - Nearly passed out, didnt want to use the porter loos, so I didnt drink all day... stupid git.
Collective Soul in Wellingtown - that was quite good.

    Got to get out more!

Yip definatly, korn played alright, but they stopped right in the middle of a song n played statues, was like they didn't want to be there.

Manson's a freak, I remeber him biffing his mic stand at the drummer, missed him by mil's. And the david bowie type outfit was classic....

Mind bending Lonesome Loser acapella right at the beginning of the show, lights out ... 10 seconds then whack... in come the voices.

Rolling Stones in Auckland in 1966 - when they where still young (and so was I)

Neil Finn on stage at His Majesties in 197?, before a Split Enz concert - must have been about 15 - sitting on a stool singing Beatles covers....

We went to the last one they did there, was awesome! I have to say I haven't been to many big gigs, Chili Peppers (was soo stoned I don't really remember), The Cranberrys (got stoned off the guy smoking a joint behind me), Pearl Jam were awesome, got Neil Finn up on stage to sing History Never Repeats etc (was obviously not too stoned for that one as I remember it!). Otherwise, Jimmy Barnes, Icehouse, Op Shop, The Feelers etc. But really want to see Metallica in concert, got a taste at the BDO they did here and am eagerly awaiting their return. U2 and Roger Waters to come, yahhh!!
Am very jealous of you lot who saw Pink Floyd, Led Zep etc, (you lucky buggers!)

I went to that and I thought it was shit!! Way distorted and generally shit sound, they are an alright band though...

Jealous of everyone who has seen Floyd and Led Zepp, I'm too young, they were barely around even when I was born.

Really keen for BDO '07 but am so dissappointed I can't make it!
