If someone has a car with a towball that they trust me to use, Im heading up to Blenheim on Friday and back down Saturday so I can take the trailer up and leave it in Picton if that suits.
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Ogri,
if you could grab the trailer off Kickaha and take it up to Picton that would be great!
Also, if you could put the trailer on the ferry by it's lonesome, I'll bank transfer the ferry money to you asap!
Is that cool? if not we'll just have to arrange something else.
If we can try and plan this thing.......
ajturbo picks it up from welly ferry and takes it up to palmy...
klown takes over and brings it up to orkland.....
Can we see this happening? I CAN!![]()
The rest of you guys, just hang on before you turn your backs. Incase this doesn;t happen according to 'plan'.

It would have to go on bluebridge as tranzrail dont take unaccompanied trailers
Hi Warwick,
Thanks for your inquiry. Yes we do take unaccompanied trailers, but all such inquiries should be directed to our Freight department - give them a call on 0800 162 322 and they will be able to give you prices etc.

Just an update.... the trailer is still at Kickaha's work and due to the festive season's usual rushing about I guess nothing has really been done since then.
My plans have changed along the way and I will only require the trailer late Jan or Feb.
However, I'll like to start working on this trailer run again sometime in early Jan so that we can get Spankme the funds raised for next year as I'm sure it'll help him and his team better plan for the year ahead.
Thanks once again to all who've helped, supported and contributed good ideas, your help to complete this fundraiser would be much appreciated!!!![]()
Kickaha - let me know if there's any cost involved in storing the trailer at your work and I'll sort it out asap!![]()
if you want a 12v convertor for your vehicle, Pm me and i will give details for Bayden sprozen, he build these and has sold about 50 of them....Originally Posted by T.W.R

Guys,
Got a mate with a van and a towbar but no lighting wiring...any ideas?
She's happy to get it to Picton but not sure if it's a good idea to tow all that way without trailer lights?
Can her vehicle lights be seen from behind, as there aint nothing on the trailer
Then it shouldnt be a problem...
Ok technically she should have the trailer lights working...but I figure as long as ALL others travelling behind her can see all her lights (indicators and brake) then its ok... and that she sticks to the speed limit and doesnt do anything to attract the attention of the lovely police officers, then she should get it to Picton ok.
Do others agree with that...?
Yes, I'd agree - provided she is towing in daylight hours, and her vehicle lights (brake & indicators) can be clearly seen from behind, it shouldn't be a problem.
Can I believe the magic of your size... (The Shirelles)
Well, that's another failed attempt.
Me mate is not too keen on towing without the wiring so I'm going to have to come up with something else.
Anyone making in Chch making a trip to Picton sometime inthe next 2 weeks?![]()
