Hi all,
My speedo has recently started acting up. It registers up till i get to sixty ks and pulses reading sixty ks as i get faster (its not a digital one). The bike works perfectly fine, i think there is a prob with the speedo or the cable??? Anyone else had this happen, any inexpnsive solutions out there?

check the cable is not frayed and about to break. Unscrew it at the bottom end and turn it by hand. It should rotate freely by hand with no notchy feel. Try a squirt of crc down the cable as well.

Hmm, if that could explain it then if you find it is frayed I'll show you where that speedo shop is after all.

cheers guys, seemed to work again this weekend so will still look into those options
