will get my old man to send you an email. He's after a BMW 650, but i think he was aiming for a later model 650CS with less k's.

Followed a guy on the Wanganui-Pipiriki-Raetihi road on one of them, got talking to him and he had done nearly 200,000kms and no major mechanical work (just regular servicing). Sheesh, 72,000kms is only just run in......

yeh thats why my old man wants one. I think he's wanting a newer one purely for cosmetic reasons.

This model is basicaly the Aprillia Pegaso with some BMW extras. Motor is the 650 water cooled Rotax that is used thru all the models and is "bulletproof"
Switchgear same as other bikes (ie Jap).

Newer model was made in BMW factory was has the clunky Beemer switchgear that is less robust. It is fuel injected and so a bit more economical and has a bit better top speed (175ish vs 160k) It also has a "beak" on the front that dosent keep the slush from spraying over you. Having ridden both they are very similar but I actually prefer the older one.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - CRC AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE CRC. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Thanks XP@ It has been a great bike and I am sorry to have to let it go but I have invested in a Tiger and dont have room for both of them. (not to mention the wee hole in my bank acc that needs some filling)
