Careful - haven't you ever seen Quadrophenia?
Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

Where is her protective clothing... Jacket, pants, boots and her helmet.

That is just so much indecent exposure, that she would have gotten a chill.

    Shame on you lad....:spudwave:

Nice one Googie, I've had a couple of people ask me about the ride at work today and both specifically mention you and Sally. I spent a sunny hour or so down on the waterfront waiting for the tow truck, at least before I got rained on.

No harm done (I think) the shake-down ride did the trick and the carb shook itself off. Bloody need that disc brake though before I test the upper performance limits.

Don't you actually read posts before replying? The carb came off the manifold....thought I'd seized it to start with, just came out onto Tamaki Dr and opened it up, grabbed 4th and suddenly lost power. I pulled the clutch in and the engine cut out so I coasted in to a stop by the boat club.

(At this point I should probably say "Hi" and "Thanks" to any of the bikers that waved or nodded to the glum looking bloke on the ochre-coloured Lambretta parked up by the boat club.)

Anyhoo, I took the panel off so the tow truck fella could strap to the frame and there's the carb quite lidderally hanging out of the side.
