ZXR 250C throtle cable help plz :(

hello guys,

last nite I was going to oil my throtle cable but before i did that I opened the throtle and the cable must had broke as the throtle would not go back.
I pulled of the run switch box and found that it had broke, Ive never had this problem before but is it much work to replace them and how much do the new cables cost, Just from anyware or do they have to be for the bike ?

I've had two break on me, it's not too big a job to do it yourself. Approach your local wrecker as a bike shop will charge an arm and a leg. (throttle cable from red baron for an fzr250 = $87 )

Also check your phone book to see if there are any brake cable manafacturers in your area. They can make up most cables to size and tend to cost half what most wreakers charge.
